Hi, I’m Samantha.
I’m a wedding photographer based in Dallas-Fort Worth, a wife, a mom, a Christian, a coffee drinker, and someone who has become painfully aware of how much the ordinary moments matter.
I married my husband in 2018 in the same church we still attend today. That place has held so many pieces of our story. We stood there as bride and groom, and now we walk in with two kids, a daughter and a son, usually carrying a diaper bag, someone’s snack, and probably a coffee I did not finish while it was still hot.
Very glamorous. Very on brand for this season of life.
But truly, my family is one of the greatest gifts God has given me.
A few years into marriage, my husband went through a near life-threatening illness. It changed a lot about the way I see life, marriage, time, and photographs.
When you walk through something that reminds you how fragile life can be, you stop seeing photos as “just pictures.”
You realize they are proof.
Proof of love.
Proof of ordinary days.
Proof of people you never want to forget.
Proof that God was faithful in seasons you never would have chosen.
That is a huge part of why I photograph weddings the way I do.
I care about the pretty portraits, of course. I want you to have images that feel timeless and beautiful. But I also care deeply about the moments that may not seem like a big deal in real time.
Your mom helping button your dress.
Your grandparents sitting together during the ceremony.
Your friends losing their minds on the dance floor.
The quiet look between you and your person when nobody else is paying attention.
The way your family gathers around you on one of the biggest days of your life.
Those are the photos that age with meaning.
When I’m not photographing weddings, editing galleries, or crying over someone’s vows behind my camera like a totally normal and professional person, I’m usually with my family.
I love being with my husband and our kids, working out, playing pickleball, drinking coffee, and being around the people I love most. I like simple days, good conversations, and anything that gives me an excuse to be outside with my family.
My faith is also a huge part of who I am. I love God, and I truly believe the way we love and serve people matters. That belief shapes how I approach my business, my clients, and the responsibility of photographing a wedding day.
Because when you invite me into your wedding, I do not see it as just another event on my calendar.
I see it as a family legacy beginning in real time.
My favorite wedding days are not the ones that look perfect on paper.
They are the ones that feel honest.
The ones where people are fully present. Where the couple cares more about each other than performing for a camera. Where families are emotional, friends are loud, and the whole day feels like a reflection of the people living it.
I love photographing couples who care about beauty, but not at the expense of meaning.
Couples who want direction when they need it, but also want space to actually experience their day.
Couples who want their photos to feel nostalgic, natural, emotional, and true.
If that sounds like you, there is a very good chance we will get along.
My goal is to make your wedding photography feel easy, thoughtful, and personal.
I will guide you when you need guidance. I will help you think through the details that make the day flow better. I will pay attention to your people. I will care about the moments you told me matter most.
But I am not there to turn your wedding into a production.
I am there to document the real thing beautifully.
The tears, the joy, the nerves, the tiny in-between moments, the people who made you who you are, and the beginning of the marriage you are building.
Marriage, family, faith, and legacy are not just words I use because they sound nice on a website.
They are the things I care about in my actual life.
I know what it feels like to look at the people you love and think, “I never want to forget this.”
That is the heart behind my work.
So if you are looking for a wedding photographer who cares about more than pretty photos, who understands that your wedding day is about your people and your story, and who will treat your memories with the weight they deserve, I would love to hear from you.
I’m Samantha, and I would be honored to help you remember it all.
