A Joy-Filled Wedding Day Full of Love, Laughter, and Family

Married April 18, 2026

Some wedding days are beautiful. Some are emotional. Some are fun.

And every now and then, a wedding day is all three at once.

Jess and Leo’s wedding was one of the most joyful celebrations I’ve ever had the honor of documenting. From the moment the day began, there was this steady feeling in the air that everyone knew they were witnessing something special. Not just a wedding, but two deeply loved people beginning their marriage surrounded by people who adored them.

Their families traveled from New York City and from all over the country to celebrate them, and what stood out most was how naturally everyone came together. Jess’s Asian family heritage and Leo’s Mexican family heritage blended beautifully throughout the day, creating a celebration that felt rich with culture, warmth, and belonging. It was the kind of room where you could feel generations, stories, and love all meeting in one place.

The Kind of Love You Can Feel

Some couples perform for the camera.

Some couples forget the camera exists because they’re too busy enjoying each other.

Jess and Leo were the second kind.

They spent the day laughing, chatting, sneaking glances, greeting guests with genuine excitement, and fully living every moment they had waited for. They danced hard, smiled often, and made every person in the room feel welcomed.

That kind of joy cannot be staged. It can only be real.

And those are the wedding days that matter most years from now.

What Guests Said About Them

One of my favorite parts of any wedding day is hearing how people talk about the couple when they’re not trying to impress anyone.

All day long, people spoke about how kind Jess and Leo are. How thoughtful they are. How happy they make others feel. How deeply they love people.

That tells you everything.

A wedding day reflects more than style or details. It reflects the life you’ve built and the way you’ve loved people long before the aisle.

Jess and Leo’s wedding was overflowing because they are the kind of people who overflow into others.

For Couples Planning Their Own Wedding

If you’re engaged and wondering what actually makes a wedding unforgettable, it usually isn’t perfection. It isn’t trends. It isn’t the exact shade of linen.

It’s this:

  • Being fully present
  • Loving your people well
  • Choosing joy over pressure
  • Letting the day feel like you
  • Making space to celebrate instead of perform

Jess and Leo did that so naturally, and the result was a wedding day that felt alive.

Those are the kinds of images that last because they’re rooted in something real.

Thank You, Jess + Leo

Thank you both for trusting me to capture such a meaningful day. It was an honor to witness the way your families love you, the way your friends celebrate you, and the way you love each other so freely.

Your wedding was pure joy from beginning to end, and I left so grateful to have been part of it.
